Fiscal Artisans is a boutique accounting and advisory practice, led by Stuart Smith, CPA. We’re small enough to know your business by name, and experienced enough that very little about it surprises us anymore.
THE FOUNDER
Stuart Smith, MIPA
Stuart Smith has been a public accountant based in Williamstown, Melbourne, Victoria, since 1991, and spent years as CFO for a multinational entity before starting Fiscal Artisans. That combination — practising accountant and in-house CFO — is why clients get strategic thinking from their numbers, the kind a standard compliance practice was never built to offer.
Stuart Smith is a Member of the Institute of Public Accountants with a particular affinity for the arts and creative industries — production companies, musicians, and independent studios rarely fit the standard small-business template, and standard advice often fails them. Fiscal Artisans was built to close that gap.
Today, Stuart and the team — including Manish Kalani, Senior Client Manager — have advised hundreds of businesses and thousands of individuals, establishing structures for clients across Australia and internationally.
